TWIN, a dye for the posterior segment created in Alchimia’s laboratories, is an ultra-purified, sterile and pyrogen-free solution composed of 0.18% Trypan Blue and the patented Blulife dye (formula: C48H50N3NaO7S) 0.03%, suitable for the reversible staining of the internal limiting membrane and epiretinal membranes. It contains a thickening agent that improves contact between the dye and the tissues, thus allowing a clear visualization of the retinal membranes and the inner limiting membrane.
