Brightest, Safest Light Source currently available.

The Synergetics Photon™ begins a new era in intraocular laser and illumination. A drastically improved visual field enables you to see better, perform bimanual surgery easily, AND incorporate laser and illumination through our Bullseye™ laser illuminators.

Bullseye™ laser illuminators provide coaxial laser and illumination through a single fiber optic, and 25ga illumination levels exceed all current 20ga illumination systems. Through careful filtering of certain wavelengths, illumination levels can be increased without increasing phototoxic risk.

  • Two different ports offer you the ability to use two powerful illumination probes simultaneously. Each port is equipped with it's own light intensity control Knob.

  • A built-in Laser Power Sensor enables you to test your laser output at anytime and obtain an accurate reading through the Laser Power Indicator.

  • The Bullseye™ Laser illuminator port receives all Photon™ compatible disposables - illumination and laser/illumination.

The PHOTON™ has been extensively tested against currently available light sources for comparative illumination levels and phototoxic effects. The phototoxic risk has been minimized through the use of microfiber Technology™, an extensive filtering system and the smartcard™ system. This allows precise control of the the amount of light entering the eye, providing brighter illumination with decreased phototoxicity compared to the products you are currently using. As always, the minimum amount of illumination should be used and is recommended.
